Born and based in Benfleet, Essex.
Ever since I was a young child, I had a passion for nature and travelling. Growing up, I was fortunate enough to travel far and wide and explore lots of places. I discovered photography when I was 15 years old, using my mother's DSLR camera for the very first time. Looking through the lens of the camera opened up an entire different world to me, one of which I have loved ever since.
I went to London to study photography at college for three years. There, I learnt all about the 'behind-the-scenes' of the photographic world. How fast/slow the shutter speed should be, how much light I need to let in to make the photograph clear and how to edit using Adobe Photoshop if needed. Studying Photography for a few months, I knew it was what I was meant to do for a living.
After leaving college, I went straight into working for an awarded winning photographer for a year. I then left and started my own business, freelancing for charities and companies. It was then I knew I did not want to subject myself to one photographic category and to explore everything there is to do in the photographic world!
